You lot are great. More power to your collective elbows, and if you ever bump into me at the bar I can promise it will be trebles all round.

Y...e..s - but if it had been a company from and its activities solely in the UK, how far would investigations have managed to go?
However, it's another example of how contemporary technologies can leave the most surprising people behind - something found throughout history - didn't certain "professionals" realise the details would get out very quickly?

And to think that 12 years ago we were all chortling over how Will Straw's identity was in the Scottish papers, but no one was breathing a word about it in England. It's a different world, innit?

Still, C-F will still be billing Trafigura what I earn in several years for their sterling work in the past 48 hours, so not everyone's a loser here...

I suppose, what with Trafigura and Iran's recent uprising, Twitter does have SOME uses...

Nice hat tip to the Eye in the Grauniad, too.

Carter-F*ck's costs are a drop in the bucket for Trafigura. I doubt they'll learn from this fiasco.

It's a victory for all sorts of people, from nobodies to somebodies, using all sorts of communications, acting almost unconsciously together. It shows the way to outflank, out manoeuvre and out think the door-closers.
